All praise is due to Allah who blessed us with the opportunity to fast and increase our good deeds during the Month of Ramadan, and who has now granted us the joy and gift of Eid ul-Fitr.
And may His ultimate Peace and Blessings be upon our Master, Muhammad, the leader of the Prophets and chief of the Messengers, and upon his family, companions and all those who follow his guidance until the Day of Judgement.
We congratulate Muslims both in Australia and elsewhere around the world on the coming of Eid ul-Fitr, and we ask Allah the Exalted that He accepts from us all our fasting, night prayers and other righteous deeds.
According to astronomical and scholarly reports, the new moon will occur this Saturday after sunset by approximately 3 hours in Sydney. Accordingly, we hereby announce that this Sunday will mark the completion (30th day) of Ramadan, and that:
Monday 31st March 2025 is the date of Eid El-Fitr and 1st Shawwal 1446 AH
We pray to Allah that He accepts from us our fasting during the Month of Ramadan and that He allows for the joy of Eid to extend to all Muslims both in Australia and elsewhere around the world, that He continues to grant us the blessings of security, peace and faith here in our home Australia, and that He grants relief to our brothers and sisters in Gaza, Jerusalem and the rest of dear Palestine.
